Through cultural activities and staff-supervised field trips, students blend into Japanese society and experience different things. Students can also have contact with students of our Japanese language teachers training course. We will provide assistance so that you can enjoy your time at IAY.

IAY is located in the center of Sapporo, and three subway lines intersect at the nearest subway station, and large underground shopping malls are also located nearby IAY. These will make your life in Sapporo convenient.
As the school, dormitory and working place are easily accessible by bicycle, no need to prepare extra transportation fees.
Sapporo is a livable city for foreign students because prices of commodities and land are cheaper than those of Tokyo, and local people speak almost standard Japanese with little characteristic accents or local dialects.
